Arnold Newman
Arnold Newman was an American Photographer who was born in Manhattan, New York. He had grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and later in his life moved to Miami, Florida. While in Miami, Newman studied Painting and Drawing at the University of Miami. After only 2 years at the university, Newman was unable to afford continuing his studies there and then moved on to Philadelphia for work. At his first job, Newman was making 49 cent portraits. After this job, Newman had worked with many other studios and had many other jobs, in which he obtained great success. Next, Arnold Newman was an American Photographer famous for his "Environmental Portraits," of artists and politicians. Newman was actually one of the first to use this environmental Portraiture in his photographs.
