Elliot Erwit
Elliot Erwitt was born in Paris, France in the year of 1926. Although he was born in France, his family soon moved to Italy for various reasons. When Erwit was 10 years old, his family has immigrated to the United States of America. While in America, Elliot Erwit had attended the Los Angeles City College, where he studied filmmaking and photography.
Elliot Erwit was a photographer who was considered the master of his medium. He was especially known for his candid and humorous black and white images. He is responsible for some of the most iconic photographs of the nineteenth century. To me it seems as though Erwit had great success in his career and really created some interesting images that the public really enjoyed. Following that, Erwit had also created many photobooks, with many of them focusing on dogs. Erwit had said that he wants pictures with emotion and well it really comes out in his photographs.
Below is an image I included because I really thought it conveyed Erwit's photography well. This image is a sort of humorous black and white image that shows tons of emotions. It is humorous as the child is smiling while holding a gun to his head which would convey opposite feelings. It is a very good image though as it really attracts me and probably many other individuals as well. Elliot Erwit's Photos are unique and appealing.
